With a remarkable understanding of the intricacies of the industry and an eye for international market sway, business was booming from day one. Robby has played an integral part of some of the country’s most successful local men’s and ladies’ brands and, as such, he has extensive experience and expertise in the formation, design, marketing and selling of brands in the South African market. Seeing his potential, he was given the opportunity to take his leading men’s brand, Mazerata, from his previous business and go it alone. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, backed by the hard-won skills of getting a new business off the ground, Robby continually sets his sights on new business opportunities and brand expansion.

But his driving ambition couldn’t keep him there… He decided to take a leap and kick off his own brand, under his own company, backed by his extensive experience in the world of ladies’ fashion. With that, Miss Black was born. In the years that Miss Black has been in the market, it has become the fastest growing young ladies’ fashion footwear and bag label in South Africa and boasts the fastest growth of Facebook likes in ladies’ fashion footwear in the country. Jason is excited to keep pushing the boundaries when it comes to the fashion footwear industry in South Africa.

He was handpicked to come on board and start a new fashion comfort brand, Butterfly Feet. When the directors realised that Adam also brought with him a wealth of knowledge in the children’s fashion market from his previous company, a second brand, Rock & Co, was launched. The success was instant. Now seasons down the line, both brands have become market-leaders and business is booming. With an astuteness for the industry and the ability to design and develop brands from scratch, Adam’s role is sure to be pivotal one in the ongoing success of DANGEE | CARKEN.
